Are you asking your clients if they know about your wellness plan program?
Surveys are a simple and easy way to gather information directly from the people that matter most – your clients. Use your survey as another way to ask clients if they know about your wellness plan program. It can be as simple as “Do you know about our wellness plans?”. If the answer is no, send a follow up email outlining your plan offerings and membership perks.
Here are a few benefits:
- Surveys help spread the word about your plans
- Send a follow up email to your survey respondent with your plan offerings. Be sure to highlight the value of your plans including membership perks, savings, convenience of monthly payments and more.
- Gain insight on how effectively you are promoting your plans
- Are staff talking about your plans?
- Are you handing out brochures?

Do you have a client communication service?
Choose from two different survey types:
- Editable survey – Most client communication services such as IDEXX Pet Health Network Pro allow you to edit the questions in their survey tool so you can make it your own.
- 3rd party survey tool – Use an online survey tool. You can copy and paste the survey web address/URL to your automated emails, practice website and more to share your survey with your clients.
Need help choosing an online survey provider?
There are many online survey providers available and picking the right one for your practice is important. Below we’ve noted a couple options available to you:
TIPS:
- Keep the questions simple
- Avoid making the survey too long (5-10 questions maximum)
- Assume your clients are both new and existing
- Consider using questions that can be answered on a rating scale
- Are you looking to learn even more about your wellness plans? Add a second question asking clients if they are happy with price points, plan items and more.
