            Sync information using IDEXX DataPoint

            If your practice uses IDEXX DataPoint as your sync mechanism, use this guide to sync clients, pets, WP items, and item usages from Cornerstone to Petly Plans. There are three ways to trigger a sync depending on what needs to be updated.

            Method 1
            Pet Search — Search bar
            Sync a specific pet when searching for them in Petly Plans

            When you search for a pet, Petly Plans automatically syncs with your practice management software and pulls in any new or updated information for that pet.

            Enter the patient's ID in the Search bar

            Petly Plans will display any matching results.

            If the pet doesn't appear, click the Quick Sync icon

            Click thecircle arrows iconto the left of the search field. Petly Plans will sync and display matching results.

            Note: If you attempt to perform a quick sync without anything entered in the Search bar, an alert will display that search criteria is required.
            Method 2
            Client Summary Page
            Sync a client and all their associated pets from the Client Summary page

            You can also sync client and pet information directly from the Client Summary page.

            Open the Client Summary page

            Access the Client Summary page for the client you need to sync.

            Select Sync Client and Pet(s)

            From the Client Administration drop-down list, select Sync Client and Pet(s). Petly Plans will sync the selected client and all related pets.

            Method 3
            Syncs & Automation — Admin menu
            Run an immediate sync of any data type at any time

            Administrators can sync Petly Plans with your practice management software at any time from the Syncs & Automation page.

            Admin›Syncs & Automation

            Click the appropriate sync option

            Select the area to sync — Clients, Pets, Items, or Item Usage — based on what needs to be updated.
