Summary

Search for a client or patient in Petly Plans.


When

  • Anything you would like to find a client or patient.

  • Manager
  • Staff 


Things to Know

  • If you have added or updated client or patient information in your Practice Management Software (PiMS) today and would like to see the latest information in Petly Plans, perform a quick sync and then a search. 
    • It may take several minutes for Petly Plans to complete a sync with your PiMS.
    • PiMS information is automatically synchronized with Petly Plans every night.
  • Use the Advanced search option if:
    • A client is inactive in your PiMS.
    • A patient is inactive or marked deceased in your PiMS.


Steps

  1. Within the Petly Plans Search field, type a portion of or the entire client ID, client name, patient ID, patient name or breed. Results display in the Search Results page below.



  1. If you do not see the client or patient, click advanced in the Searchfield and enter additional search criteria as needed:
    1. From the Pet Status drop-down list, narrow search results by choosing: 
      1. Active to display only patients with an Active status.
      2. Inactive to display patients with an Inactive or Deceased status.
      3. All to display patients with any status.
    2. From the Plan Status Include drop-down list, narrow search results by choosing:
      1. All to display patients with any plan status.
      2. In Progress and Configured Renewals to display only patients with an in progress plan and renewal plan configured.
      3. In Progress to display only patients with a currently in progress plan.
      4. Completed to display only patients in which the latest plan has ended and has a Completed status and no new plan has started. 
      5. Canceled to display only patients in which the latest plan has ended and has a Canceled status and no new plan has started.
      6. On Hold to display only patients with a plan that is currently on hold.
    3. In the Plan Start Date Range from/to fields, type a from start date and/or to start date to display only patients with a plan started or starting within the specified date(s).
    4. In the Plan End Date Range from/to fields, type a from end date and/or a to end date to display only patients with a plan ended or ending within the specified date(s).
    5. Place a check mark in the Clients with no Pets check box to include clients without an active patient(s) listed in Petly Plans.
  2. If you still to not see the client or patient, perform a quick sync to update Petly Plans with the latest PiMS information and then a search.
    1. You may need to type the ID or name of the client or patient and then clicking the Quick Sync icon if using DataPoint.
  3. In the Search field, type the name or ID of the client or patient.
  4. Within the Search Results page, do one of the following if needed:
    1. Click the <client name> link to go to the Client Summary Page.
    2. Click the view link to go to the selected plan within the Client Summary Page for the associated patient.
    3. Click Add Plan to enroll a patient in a plan.
