Microsoft Edge

Steps to update

Open Edge settings

Click the ··· menu in the top-right corner of the browser window, then select Settings.

Go to "About Microsoft Edge"

In the left sidebar, click About Microsoft Edge. Edge will automatically check for and download updates.

Restart to apply

Once the download completes, click Restart to finish the update. Your tabs will be restored after restart.

Quick access: You can also navigate directly by typing edge://settings/help in the address bar and pressing Enter.

Steps to update

Open Chrome menu

Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu in the top-right corner of the browser.

Navigate to Help → About Google Chrome

Hover over Help, then click About Google Chrome. Chrome will immediately check for updates and begin downloading if one is available.

Relaunch Chrome

Click Relaunch to apply the update. All your open tabs will be restored automatically.

Quick access: Type chrome://settings/help in the address bar and press Enter to jump straight to the update screen.

Mozilla Firefox

Steps to update

Open the Firefox menu

Go to Help → About Firefox

Click Help, then About Firefox. Firefox will automatically check for updates and begin downloading if available.

Restart to update

Once the download is complete, click Restart to Update Firefox. Your session will be fully restored.
