Integrating Petly Plans and Cornerstone

Petly Plans and Cornerstone integrate to allow all wellness plan (WP) codes to be automatically discounted 100% upon invoicing. Watch the training video below or review the steps in this article to set up the integration.

Regenerate button

Creates a new token for the third-party application to communicate with Petly Plans. The new token must be provided to the third party to continue communications.

Revoke button

Denies the listed third-party application access to Petly Plans data.

Application

The name used to identify the third-party application using the listed token to communicate with Petly Plans.

Token

The unique token used by the third-party application to access Petly Plans data.

Last Used

The last time the token was used to access the application.

User Role

This action can only be performed by a Super Admin or Admin user.

Generate a token in Petly Plans
Must be logged in as an Admin or Super Admin

Log into the hospital portal

Log in as an Admin or Super Admin.

Open the menu

Place the mouse pointer over the menu icon at the top left of the screen.

Go to Admin > Portal Settings

Select Admin from the menu, then select Portal Settings.

Open the Integrations tab

Locate and click the Integrations tab.

Generate a new token

Select Generate New Token.

Enter Cornerstone as the application name

In the Third-Party Application box, type Cornerstone. Then click Generate.

Important:Petly Plans can only integrate with Cornerstone at this time.

Copy the token

Select and copy the complete token. You will need to paste this into Cornerstone in the next section.

Complete immediately after generating the token in Petly Plans

Open Cornerstone

Open and log into the hospital's Cornerstone software.

Navigate to Practice settings

From the top menu bar, select Lists then select Practice from the drop-down.

Select the practice and open Update

Select the appropriate practice name and click Update.

Select Petly Wellness Plan

Under Login/Password Management, open the Account Information drop-down and select Petly Wellness Plan.

Paste the token

Paste the token generated from step 7 into the Hospital Token field.

Validate and confirm

Click Validate, then click OK.

Synchronization timeThe time required for existing plans to populate in Cornerstone depends on the size of the hospital's database and the number of active plans. Newly implemented hospitals average 5–15 minutes. Existing hospitals may take several hours.

Confirm connectivity in Cornerstone
Verify the integration is working immediately after setup

Pull up a patient clipboard

Locate and open a patient clipboard in Cornerstone.

Refresh the enrollment status

Place the mouse pointer directly over the Paw Print - Not Enrolled StatusPaw Print – Not Enrolled Status, right-click, and select Refresh.

Best practice: For optimal performance, validate the token during implementation while the hospital is in Test Mode. This refresh step must be performed each time a new patient is enrolled in Petly Plans.
