Edit a client’s payment profile to ensure it is up-to-date and to avoid payment collection issues.

Prior to processing a payment through the Petly Plans application.

Things to Know

  • The Potential Payment Issues report is an easy way to view and address future payments that will not process due to an inaccurate payment profile.
  • Actual credit card, debit card and/or bank account information is stored within your payment gateway service provider. Petly Plans displays the last four digits of an account to more easily differentiate accounts.


Steps

Change an existing payment profile

  1. Search for and select the client for which to change an existing payment profile.
  2. Within the Client Summary page, go to Client Administration > Manage Payment Profiles.
  3. Find the payment profile to update.
  4. Click edit.


Update credit or debit card information

  1. From within the Edit Payment Profile page, make any necessary changes to the card expiration date or billing address.


 


Note: The Card Number and Card CVV fields cannot be edited in Petly Plans. If any information has changed, the payment profile must be deleted in Petly Plans and a new payment profile entered.

  1. Click Update Credit Card.
  2. Click return to client page when finished making changes.


Update a bank account

  1. From within the Edit Payment Profile page, make any necessary changes to the name, account type or billing address.



Note: The Routing Number and Account Number fields cannot be edited in Petly Plans. If any information has changed, the payment profile must be deleted in Petly Plans and a new payment profile entered.

  1. Click Update Bank Account.
  2. Click return to client page when finished making changes.
