  • Staff does not know their login password

Things to Know

  • The user name used to log into the Petly Plans application cannot be edited.
  • Password requirements:
    • Cannot include the user name.
    • Must be 8 or more characters.
    • Must include both upper case and lower-case letters.
    • Must have a minimum of 1 number.
  • If attaching an image to a user account:
    • Limitations include:
      • File size: Max 500 KB
      • Height and Width: Max 1000 x 1000
      • File Type Allowed: JPG, PNG, GIF
    • Petly Plans will crop the center of the image and resize it as needed.

 

Steps

  1. Log into Petly Plans as an Administrator.
  2. Place the mouse pointer over the menu icon and go to Admin > Users.
  3. Click edit to the right of the user for which information should be updated.



  1. Optional: In the Display Name field, type a different name to display when this user is logged into the Petly Plans application.
  2. Optional: In the Email field, type the unique email address to associate with this user.
  3. Optional: From the Display Tooltips drop-down, select Yes to display tooltips throughout the Petly Plans application for this user or No to hide tooltips.
  4. Optional: From the Role drop-down list, select a different security access level for this user.
  5. Optional: In the User Image field, click Browse and follow the prompts to search for and select an image to display for this user.
  6. Optional: Click Change Password.



  1. In the New Password field, type a different password this user will enter when logging into the Petly Plans application.
  2. In the Repeat New Password field, type the same password entered in the New Password field.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Save.
