How to edit a manually tracked performance action

An administrator can change the description or point value associated with a manually tracked performance action through the Performance Tracking settings.

Things to know before you begin

What can be edited

Only manually tracked performance actions can be edited. You can update the description (name) and the point value associated with the action.

Where changes apply

Changes take effect immediately after saving and will apply to the performance action going forward. The updated description and value will reflect on the Performance Actions page.

Steps to edit a performance action

Update a manually tracked performance action

Administrator access required

Navigate to Performance Actions

Open Performance Tracking

Place the mouse pointer over Menu and select Performance. The Performance Tracking Overview page will appear.

Click Edit Performance Actions

Click the Edit Performance Actions button. The Performance Actions page will appear.

Select the action to edit

Click the Edit link to the far right of the manually tracked performance action you want to update. The Edit Performance Action page will appear.

Make changes and save

Update the editable fields as needed

Make changes to either or both of the following fields:

Description

Type a different name to describe the performance action. This is how the action will appear to staff.

Value

Type a different number to indicate thepoints this action is worthwhen performed by a staff member.

Click Save

Click Save to apply the changes and return to the Performance Actions page.

Reminder: Changes to the description or point value take effect immediately. Verify the updated values on the Performance Actions page after saving to confirm the changes were applied correctly.
